They Ask Big Questions. You Do Not Always Have Big Answers.
Why is the sky blue?
Why do volcanoes erupt?
Why do sharks never stop swimming?
Why do we dream?
Curious kids ask hundreds of questions because their brains are busy building the world.
That is wonderful.
It is also exhausting when every answer turns into another search, another video, another screen.
The 100,000 Whys Kids Encyclopedia gives them a better place to start.
A real book they can open, flip through, point at, read with you, or explore on their own.

My 7 year old grandson LOVES this book! On a recent visit, he read to me from this book every night. With giggles, his sisters urged him to read the one about "farts". He keeps it by his pillow, and reads a few pages every night before 'lights out'. I like the way it explains things without going into great detail. I believe you are never too old to learn something new, and this book proved that! I enjoyed it as much as the kids did.
